New Melle is a very small quiet city located in St. Charles County, just south of Hwy 40 and a few miles west of Hwy 94. This is a beautiful place to live, with lots of space to grow! As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 124, with 44 households, and 35 families residing in the city. New Melle is located in the Francis Howell School District. Elementary school students attend Daniel Boone Elementary, middle school students attend Francis Howell Middle School, and high school students attend Francis Howell High School.
